Saggar fired vases are created when a chamber is built within the kiln to trap materials and colorants.

All decorations used in this process are burned into the surface of the vase.

These decorative vases are created without glaze. The finish for these pieces is sealed with an acrylic spray to protect the decorative surface from fingerprints and oils.
