"Hi, I'm Brigida. I create outdoors-inspired and watercolor-driven cards and gifts for nature lovers. Yardia products help you to love the place you live. Through Yardia, I create watercolor illustrations inspired by my experiences in nature, and translated to stationery, gifts and home decor. Community and connection can each start with a simple card, carefully selected artwork or lovingly wrapped gift, reaching out from one person to another and seeing the good and wonder in each other. Coming from a multiracial and indigenous CHamoru perspective, creating art about nature and loving the place I live is more than business alone. It connects to the sacredness of the land that my ancestors protected and fought for, and to my own experiences growing up exploring the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Yardia's values are based in the spirit of inafa'maolek--to make good and strive for harmony. And I hope to share that spirit with you through my art. I'm proud to have built Yardia into the full time, woman-of-color owned business it is today, and that I can support myself through my art.
