3D Magnet | The Journey by Darrel Amos

3D The Journey Magnet by Darrel Amos | Native Northwest – Haida Indigenous Art

Celebrate the beauty of Indigenous storytelling with the 3D The Journey Magnet by Darrel Amos, a distinctive piece of Haida artwork that brings the artistic heritage of the Pacific Northwest into your home.

Created by Darrel Amos, a Haida Indigenous artist, this collectible wooden magnet features his original The Journey design. Produced by Native Northwest, its dimensional, die-cut construction adds depth and character to the artwork, making it a meaningful keepsake for collectors, travelers, and admirers of Northwest Coast Indigenous art.

Measuring approximately 3–4 inches, this magnet is a wonderful addition to refrigerators, magnetic boards, or any collection of Pacific Northwest treasures.

The Symbolism of The Journey

The title The Journey invites reflection on life's experiences, personal growth, ancestral connections, and the paths we travel. Within Haida artistic traditions, visual storytelling can express important relationships between people, their histories, and the natural world.

The design offers an opportunity to appreciate these traditions while reflecting on our own journeys. Its specific cultural meaning, including any animal figures represented, should be understood through the artist's interpretation rather than assumed from the title alone.

Why We Chose It for Millstream

At Millstream, we believe the best souvenirs are more than reminders of a place—they tell a story.

Whether you're exploring the shores of Bainbridge Island, wandering the historic streets of Port Townsend, or discovering the natural wonders of the Olympic Peninsula, every Pacific Northwest adventure becomes part of your own journey.

We selected this magnet for its distinctive Haida artistry, meaningful title, and connection to the cultural heritage of the Northwest Coast. It reflects our appreciation for Indigenous artists and our love of gifts that inspire curiosity, connection, and storytelling.

Whether you're commemorating a Washington State adventure or searching for a thoughtful gift, The Journey is a beautiful little reminder of the places we've been and the stories we carry with us.
