Its distinctive artwork brings personality and warmth to an everyday essential, making it as enjoyable to display as it is to use.

Individually boxed, it also makes a wonderful gift for fox lovers, nature enthusiasts, and admirers of Indigenous art.

The Inspiration Behind the Fox

Foxes are admired for their intelligence, curiosity, adaptability, and playful personalities. Their remarkable ability to navigate changing environments makes them one of the natural world's most fascinating animals.

Foxes appear in the stories and artistic traditions of various cultures, although their specific meanings differ. Rather than assigning a universal Indigenous symbolism to the fox, Deanna Samuel's Foxy design can be appreciated for its artistic character and celebration of wildlife.

Why We Chose It for Millstream

At Millstream, we're always drawn to artwork that celebrates the wonderful creatures inhabiting the forests and wild spaces of the Pacific Northwest.

From the wooded landscapes of Bainbridge Island to the Olympic Peninsula's coastal forests, foxes evoke the quiet magic of the natural world. Their curious expressions, graceful movements, and clever personalities make them irresistible subjects for nature-inspired gifts.

We selected the Foxy Big Ceramic Mug because it combines distinctive Indigenous artwork with a practical, generously sized design. It's exactly the kind of thoughtful everyday treasure we love sharing with our customers.

Whether you're enjoying a slow morning with your favorite coffee, searching for a special gift for an animal lover, or remembering your adventures in Washington State, this charming mug brings a little woodland personality to every sip.
