About The Artist: Meera Lee Patel is a self-taught writer and artist who believes that anything is possible. She is the author of My Friend Fear: Finding Magic in the Unknown, a beautiful meditation on fear and how it can help guide us to become who we really are. She is also the author of two journals for self-exploration, Start Where You Are and Made Out of Stars. Working in pencil and gouache, Meera is inspired by the small stories found in everyday life.
