Octopus Flour Sack Tea Towels

Flour sack fabric is 100% cotton but also has a special element that makes it almost miraculously absorbent. The threads are spun at different tensions so when it's woven together it has a seersucker rippling effect. It is luscious and practical, hence my passion for it. I wrote six or seven factories for samples before finding the real McCoy.

Ink is also heat set and permanent so it holds up to the most rigorous washing and drying.

Size: approximately 27 square inches unfolded (68 square centimeters) and 15 inches (38 cm) when folded and hanging. Designs are printed in the lower right hand corner of the towel for easy folding and display on the oven handle.
