Spirit Flow: Mixed Wood

These Spirit Flow Earrings are inspired by the profound significance of copper in my culture and heritage. As a copper carrier for my family and house, I feel deeply connected to the stories and symbols that copper represents. Copper isn’t just a material; it embodies strength, protection, and our connection to the supernatural world. In our traditions, copper shields were symbols of prestige and wealth, with some stories telling of beings like ɫáɫa (Sasquatch) gifting us the copper shield. This design reflects that legacy, featuring a flowing combination of circles and S-shapes. These shapes echo the energy and movement of water, as well as the enduring qualities of copper that we hold so dear. The shape of the shield and the fluid curves bring together elements of resilience and elegance, grounded in both the past and the present.
