About Rainier Watch

"Hi, I'm David! Rainier Watch was born from a single tweet. I started this brand, on twitter, as a way for people who love mountains (like Mount Rainier) to share in their love together. I started tweeting when Mount Rainier was visible in the Pacific Northwest many years ago and since that fateful tweet Rainier Watch has grown into an apparel company making epic quality goods inspired by mountains. Rainier Watch is gear for good. With every purchase, I donate a portion to protecting the National Parks through partnerships with non profits like Washington's National Parks Fund and the National Park Foundation. In 2020, I was stoked to donate over $4,000 to protecting our parks, supporting diversity and inclusion in the outdoors through my The Mountains Are For Everyone fundraiser and initiative, and PNW wildfire relief efforts. I also focus on partnerships with other local small businesses in my area in the production process as well as using earth friendly materials in the apparel production and shipping processes. For example, my stickers are all produced down the road in Tuwila by DieCutStickers and my shirts are printed in either Seattle or Bellingham. Most of my hats are manufactured by Richardson Apparel, which hand assembles the hats in Oregon. I very much believe in supporting our local economy so all of my goods are designed here in the PNW by myself or other designers. Thanks so much for supporting my small business and helping me protect our National Parks!" - David
